Voyage Rewards?

I've read the section of the wiki on Voyage Rewards Over Time, but I'm curious if there are any other factors besides voyage duration and dilemma leg that determine Crew Drops? Does degree of "victory" over Hazards and Dilemmas affect the rewards pull?
I ask because I've been doing Voyages since they began, usually in the 4-7 hour range depending on primary/secondary skills, but in that whole time I've only ever gotten ONE Super-rare crew drop (not counting Dilemma pathing rewards) and since the Voyages "update", Rare crew are very, well... rare.
If I'm mostly looking for Rare and Super-rare crew drops in addition to chronitons, is it useless to continue past the first Dilemma if my Primary and Secondary are below a certain level? Or is it all truly random drops on pass/fail results?

There is also something with random generator - you get none for days then you return with three from 7-hour trip.
As far as I can tell I would say it’s mostly RNG. I just recently did a voyage that gave me a Augment Riker as a random dilemma reward after only 4 hours and usually I only see a super rare drop, if at all, after the 8 hour mark, so this was unusual to me, but obviously possible.
This seems to be true. I feel like a 10 hour Voyage is the best bang for your buck if you can get past 8 before your first revive.
Guess I'm doomed to keep building up my single-card, 4* crew bottleneck...
Now, I've managed to FF many characters from voyages. I took Niners Kira (and probably some others) from 0/4 to 4/4 and many more that needed fewer stars to fill in.
As for that Wiki entry, it's a bit dated. Drops do still go up considerably after 6 hrs, but they increased the chronoton drop to 15, but reduced its frequency, so you see less of them overall (to the tune of about 20%).
Well, most people that have posted real numbers from multiple voyages have observed 20%. My 8:30 voyage just now is at 450 chrons. The change dramatically increased the volatility of chron drops, so you're more likely to see very large or very small gains. But, across the board, the average is about 20%.
If I refresh 6000 dilithium, will that cover 2 hours and 15 minutes? I'm trying to decide if it is worth it.
I tried, but I must have dome something wrong since it said way more time than possible. I took 6000 and decided by 22, which seems to make it worth it. I read that 2500 is enough for 2 hours, so I assume it should work.
You do not need many (if any) 5*s to hit 6 hrs ... I just checked and am on a SCI/MED voyage currently and have but 3 5*s on it (2/5 Cornwell, FF/FE Picard and 1/5 Age of Sail Crusher).
I will easily hit 6 hrs, and even get close to 7 but usually recall long before then as I feel I'll forget anyway.
I can post a list of crew (and numbers) if you'd like.
Cheers.
Edit: I can't wait for security/diplomacy. I can make both of those go very high.
Scotty (the new 5* I imagine) won't help you out at all on the above Voyage ... he'll only help out on ENG voyages (maybe CMD depending on your crew) ... or a specific CMD/ENG.
I usually auto-fill Voyages not really taking too much note of who goes in (except just before and during events), as long as I can make 6 hrs. The one thing I do look out for is good performers in the two main skills and slot them into their secondary/tertiary skill ... so I've got Age of Sail Crusher in CMD and Cornwell in DIP this time around.
I have exactly 0 Dil so there's no chance to revive a voyage, hence I do not really care much if I can make it beyond 6 hrs and not hit 8.
I was hoping for more in some of the loot, but I am pleased with my new Picard, so all was more than worth it.
I did extend 2 of those miserable MED voyages chasing dilemmas, and on one of them only had a single 2* crew drop by 8 hours. That was a strange one.
RNG should stand for "Randomly Nerfed Goods" LOL
