Alternate Future Bashir with an item that upgrades a stat he doesn’t have.

CMDR Bald Eagle

While equipping AF Bashir I noticed that one of the stat upgrades with that item was a stat he doesn’t have. The gold Combadge upgrade shows a DIP/COM increase in proficiency but he doesn’t have a DIP stat. When I equipped the item it only increased my COM proficiency stat. A lot of resources went in to upgrading this crew to get shorted on the stats. Please fix this error. Screenshot below:

Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure this isn’t an error, so much as somewhat bad equipment planning on DB’s part. I have him as well and it took me months to make that item but the whole point of it is the Command bonus, which he possesses. The Diplomacy bonus is basically just a side effect you’re expected to ignore. Of course, I’m guessing here but since he’s had that item since his inception into the game and it hasn’t ever changed, we can only assume it’s intentional or a really weird half-mistake that no one at DB cares about, which is just as possible come to think of it, lol.

It happens all the time. They are essentially hidden stats.

On low level missions he will probably be able to clear nodes that he doesn't have as the main stats
