So clearly the stated odds are nonsense. The problem is that the clustering of failures is making this event basically a write off for me which is annoying as I purchased three event packs at the start (which now feels like wasted money)
The fact that problems seem to cluster points to a bad seed on the RNG.
Perhaps DB should get a professional coder to look at creating a new one rather than leave it to their drunken mate who owes them a favour!
The game is meticulously designed to make you spend money. Shuttle percentages are nothing but a facade. Don't be fooled into thinking that they just stumbled into this bad design.

With all the venting about the high 90% failure, I wonder if the model is broken at both ends of the spectrum? The model will always give you a 15-ish% success rate at the bottom end and a 15-ish% (maybe more) failure rate at the top end, no matter what the display says.
