Tough Behold

I have saved my premium 10 pulls to avoid worrying about beholds and space for now. But I did a single pull I had. I got this behold. I'm leaning towards Gowron since he trounced me in Gauntlet.

I'd say Gowron is a very solid choice. I have Proto Worf at 3/5, and he's one of my top 5 SEC, and of course Kal-if-fee Kirk would be awesome if the other choices weren't as good, but like you, I've felt the power of Gowron in Gauntlet quite a few times. He scares me more than Kahless, actually. (Still need to level up my copy of him, though.)

Gowron is the best choice...over 800 top dip base, or more with starbase bonus.

Gowron would be my last pick here as Com/Sec/Dip bracket in the gauntlet is a wall now of equally strong characters. It's a coin toss basically.

Worf has an excellent Sec base and is a popular event character. Kirk also offers good mileage in events.

That is of course without knowing your other crew.

This is one of the easier decisions that you'll ever be faced with. Gowron is the obvious best choice by a mile.

I have all three, Gowron sees the most use in Gauntlet, and Worf is a solid SEC character but only two skills.

Kirk, I haven't bothered leveling yet; perhaps when there is another Kirk event, but the rate that they keep churning out crew I have had other priorities.

I wish I had this behold! Kirk immortal, Gowron 4/5 FE and Worf 3/5 FE ... would have picked Gowron surely for voyage value!

Gowron's higher Diplo versus Kirk's higher Security. I'd probably eventually {Since I now have Spider-Worf} go for Gowron.

As info, Behold discussions are intended to go in the Ready Room, not the bridge.

As for your choice, Gowron at 1/5 is nice as he is pretty strong in the gauntlet sometimes.

Thank you all. I picked Gowron. It might be a while before he is leveled due to the events and the probable Klingon faction items. 4 of my nine legendary crew are Klingon and three need lots of loot. But as Q reminds us, this is a marathon.

I had an equally tough choice recently.



I ended up going with Tuvok, as I looked up the stats on all of them and Tuvok was higher than Gawron overall, and seems like would do better for Faction and Episode missions. We'll see how he does in Gauntlet.

I'd take Janeway in that last behold. Solid stats, plenty of event use. Worf has amazing art though, and I would not begrudge anyone going that route.

I've got all three of these. And I feel that Rom is actually the best choice here. Quark is an absolute nightmare to level. Any Worf is always cool to have, but DC Worf just isn't very strong. Rom will have fairly strong base ENG once FF, so depending on who else you have with that skill, he may be really useful for you.

I've seen Quark and Worf in the Gauntlet but not Rom, which makes me think Rom would be are on on shuttles and voyages. I unfortunately don't have access to my computer right now.

None of them are what I'd call particularly great for Gauntlet. Here's how they stack up:

Picard - I just wrote about him in another thread, a good choice, high base SEC for a 1/4, an event character etc. etc. etc. Will have an immediate impact once levelled.

Antaak - Only Klingon with MED I think, that might be a consideration ... if they ever re-run Klingon events he'll be of use for sure. Great MED roll for Gauntlet. Event crew (The Genesis Wave II).

Chapel - A novelty pick I figure ... only someone like me might actually choose her ... i.e. those wanting to collect all crew and who have the other two FF (though I do not fit into the second part yet).

I think Picard or Antaak are solid picks and it kinda depends on who you like more.

Antaak I think may be the only Klingon with MED, so if they do a Klingon mega-event again, he could come in handy. He's also quite good in Gauntlet, at +(214–753), but if you've got Mirror Phlox or Defensive Phlox you might not need him.

As stated in another thread earlier tonight, Robin Hood Picard has excellent base SEC for a super-rare.

Chapel, being one skill, is less useful, so I wouldn't really suggest her.

Antaak is worth it for his gauntlet skills unless you are loaded on MED crew.
