Advice on who to cite.

Hi all,

As it stands, I have 140k honor. Chances are I'm not getting the new HH char because crew space is limited and I don't need another gold languishing at 1/5 forever. My problem is this: I have enough honor for 2(soon to be 3) legendary citations. which if any should get some love?

I'm still light on Med(Cornwell was a welcome relief but I could still use more) so I'm looking at either Mobile Doctor or Da Vinci(med and eng), on the other hand, Maquis Tuvok and the Changeling Founder have traits I could use but 3/5 isn't enough stars to crit the nodes I need.

I immortalized proto barclay and don't regret it, his ENG and SCI bases both being so high was needed for me for voyages. He's definitely not a Gauntlet player though lol

I've posted this a few times, but this is the criteria I use when figuring out who to cite:

1. Main Cast: I want to cite a crew who I am going to get to use in future events. One-time crew (like da Vinci) aren't going to help much in future events
2. Strong Base Stats: Base stats are used exclusively in the two most frequently-seen event types (Faction/Galaxy) and even help in the third (Expedition)
3. At least 2/5 already: Adding the second star to a character doesn't add much to their stats. The subsequent stars add much more
4. Good Voyage Score: Voyages are a great source of chronotons, but they are one of the few variable sources of honor. By increasing your voyage length, you can increase your daily honor flows (and also star-up the odd 4* on occasion).

From your crew, I would probably end up settling on Barclay or da Vinci.

I would put 2 on Da Vinci and 1 on Photomorphosis Barclay when you get to the next 50k.

Hi Leo,

I'm with the others ... maybe Barclay ... and look at crew who are highly rated for Voyages ... e.g. I know RAF Miles O'Brien is good there but that's only because I have him ... haven't looked at the lists of good Voyages crew lately.
Anyway, you could look at improving your second or third worst trait.

Peachtree Rex has good points, I might add that I'd be inclined to add stars to a 3 skill character over that of a 2 skill character (1 or two exceptions).

The "good voyage score" part usually takes care of 3 skill vs 2 skill. Mirror Reed is the strongest 2-stat character for voyages...and he is #108 overall.

I tend to citate crew that I think can help me in voyages; DaVinci certainly falls into that category though wont be event crew again unless they re-run his event.

Another pair you haven't considered is Mirror Kira (top notch voyage SEC) and RAF O'Brian (ENG); both place highly and are often featured crew.

NB - I am assuming your going to Citate Cornwell? She probably takes care of MED for a while. I would probably stick one on Davinchi (avoiding the dreaded all behold case!) and two on Kira, Obrian or Klingon Janeway depending on where your SEC/ENG priorities lie.

Janeway features every other week so in theory are likely to get more use out of her, *sigh*

Were I in your position, I’d FF Da Vinci and Spider-Man Barclay. Putting extra stars on your Mobile Doctor would be tempting but the value of 4th and 5th stars is way higher than second and third stars.

I’d also recommend leveling RAF O’Brien and Mobile Doctor, because they have value even at 1 or 2 stars when fully leveled and equipped. Before I started my campaign to fully fuse RAF O’Brien he was still one of my maybe top six engineers, behind Grand Nagus Rom, Tuskegee Mayweather, Human Q, Icheb, and Professor Scott. Now, at 3/5*, he’s only behind my Grand Nagus Rom in base skill and is ahead of everyone else I have - even Mirror Geordi - in combined ENG skill.

I didn't pit her in the list because I got the DYC offer for her so she'll be Immortalized by the lase event.
