Loosing a Gauntlet round

I'm 99% certain i know this but loosing a match to someone doesn't result in them getting points or anything like that does it ? I use up all my crew in the gauntlet at the end of every 4 hours just to get more matches towards completing the achievement

I do the same, but then I have Guinan immortalised so at this point, Im just trying to get Locutus (only another 11,000 rounds to go! )
