Auto-complete finished missions at event conclusion
More than once now I failed to collect the final (and probably most important) round of shuttles in a Faction event before the event finished.
Events conclude at 6pm Mondays in my timezone, which is...well, probably better than say 4am, but still difficult for me to make, since that's in the middle of my work day, and often enough I don't have the time, or am in meetings, to open the game and click "Complete" on those shuttles.
Whatever the reasons, there is no reason to not let shuttle missions count THAT ALREADY CAME BACK before the event ended, just because you did not click some "Complete" button. To give a similar example, you auto-distribute any threshold rewards when the event ends, although the player never explicitly clicked "Collect" for those rewards.
It is extremely frustrating if you had 10-16000 VP sitting in the queue, but if you click "Complete" after the event, all you get is some lame Training Programs. And today it even cost me a FF'd ranked character, because I dropped 10 places too far below the ranks. :-(
Please have shuttles that have returned before the event's conclusion but have not been collected yet to contribute their legitimate VPs to the end result.
Thank you!

That would strongly affect the tactics of how faction events are played by many, as it is often advantageous/important to keep one or more completed shuttles in the queue.
What if event ends and you still have 2mins left do those count? You know someones going to complain running 8hours and 59 mins and not getting the vp
Should they auto complete when finshed or at the end of event,
this could be really unfair to players that are diling shuttles to get a better score as the are not a computer to hit the exect second that event ends (thats a 16k difference if 4 shuttles@ 4k )
Plus how would you know your pass/rate for return shuttles
I can see poeple screaming about that now when they only get 8k instead of 16k plus the two fail amounts
If finshed when done you could still get beat out, as people see your score change and dil a couple of shuttles to beat you
omg i was just thinking this at the end of the last event and probably a couple events before thank you for posting this... you have my vote +1 here
I realize these two issues (=deliberately NOT completing shuttles at the beginning of the event, and seeing the rewards you got) need to be solved. But that's their job, they are game developers.
For both situations there are reasonable solutions:
a) there is no need to auto-complete ALL shuttles/during the event. the only relevant ones are shuttles that already returned at the end of the event.
b) as with the fleet rewards you could show the rewards as a popup, or simply include the reward screen when reviewing your event rewards.
Not really an issue for most (=say with rank >2000) people, who were just at the next threshold reward or similar.
I like it in the Galaxy events because the user still has to do the turning in. You just get to choose. Here, it's automatic. You could just leave your shuttle uncompleted right now and wait until right before the end to claim it, but it would require the user to do it. Making it automatic would trivialize the effort to actually execute the action.
All in all, I think it's a fair suggestion, I just think there are some other ramifications out there that, every now and then, are going to frustrate people.
