My vote is for real reruns, not the db kind that are really variations like a part 2. Changing the event crew especially the 5* doesn't qualify as a true rerun, imo

Agreed. More straight up re-runs. Adding another character is ok, just don't take away the original
I would like more of a balance between new events and reruns... both are fun in their own ways
Agreed. I think it's fair to ask for more of a balance with all of the Mega Events. If they want to to Mega Events every couple months that's fine if the down time in between them could be re-run heavy.
Please!!! We have had so many new crew and events lately re-runs are extremely nice to give people a break and be able to maybe add an extra star to their legendary crew they might already have.
I'd like to see something like 2 to 3 re-runs and 1 to 2 new events per month.
For the re-runs, adding one new relevant character would be cool. Such as they have done for They Came from the Holodeck 1, 2 and 3. I think in this way they could maintain interest and profitability for re-runs. As well, in some cases the "new" character could also be relevant crew to the event which was introduced as pack only, such as Satan's Robot.
For re-run events, a change in the reward structure might also be worthwhile, such that people could get access to both the new and all of the old crew by participating in the event. In the threshold rewards, rather than multiples of just one of the 4*, there could be at least one of each of the 4*, and maybe the old 5* (in the case of a new and/or multiple 5*). Then they could add citations or a relevant amount of honor to the ranked rewards and perhaps squadron rewards, such that there was more flexibility in terms of people adding stars to their crew. In this way, players with various numbers of stars on event crew, and even those captains who had all of the previous event crew immortalized would still have some incentive to participate in the event and push for rank.
I also think it would be worthwhile to take crew specific equipment out of the thresholds, particularly for the 2*'s, unless it was specifically for the new crew. Even so, general equipment and components would have the greatest utility for the majority of captains and not uselessly bloat our inventory.
Even though I have immortalized Detective Data and Doctor La Forge it would be cool to see another re-run of The Game's Afoot for a chance at The Professor particularly if citations or honor where in the ranked and possibly squadron rewards.
We are all downstream from each other and ourselves, therefore choose to be relaxed and groovy. Consider participating in civil discourse, understanding the Tardigrade, and wandering with the Subspace Eddies.
+1 to being able to access both new and old crew in rewards and citations or honor instead of specific chars in ranked rewards.
Turning event rewards into a behold of the event crew at that level would be the ideal, though I understand that may not be practical to implement.
If you could implement that: how about running re-runs with 3 5* and 3 4* characters that haven't been featured in a while and have the rewards be a behold containing those three? Or running events like this that are not re-runs, but have a different theme/narrative.
The re-run coming up is over a year old, and the gap is growing. This would be a nice way to give players another chance at characters they missed or newer players more choices in assembling their crews.
I too would like a balance between reruns and new events. I do not think answering more reruns would be the correct choice for this.
Basically, if megaevents are never reruns I would like reruns to make up for the fact we did not have any during megaevent. Then once made up , I would like every other week rerun and new. My only thought for DB to make money is lowering the price of event offers. I think the 100 needs to be more like 65, which means all the rest go down too, maybe 35 for the 50, 20 for the 25, But 10 can stay 10.
I think more people would be willing to buy these offers at these lower price. But the real question would be does it increase total sales for DB. not just event. My pricing scheme might mean they do not get other sales because people buy the event offer instead.

I would love to get and/or finish older cards. As a bonus, some of the whales may sit it out, so I could try to get the 5* without breaking the bank.
Completely agree, also would help with player fatigue, something I see on various posts on here
If a player killed it on the the original run and ranked high on the leader board the first time around, could happily sit out an event knowing that they aren't missing out on characters (as they already have them FF/FE anyway and probably in the freezer), giving newer players or those who missed out on the 1st run a chance to get older character or be able to finish them off
I know, probably like many others have a load of 1/5* sitting in crew slots gathering dust which I for one would love a chance to finish off or at least make useful
I don't begrudge those whales who drop $100's+ (saw a post earlier of someone saying they $750 ready to spend on the next event alone!), I have bought packs, I'm VIP13, but I would like an event here where I had a chance in managing a rank 1,500 or below, without breaking the bank, if whales sat out a few evens that may happen

If they are going to have a new 5* crew, then rerun or new makes no difference at all to me. Now if they kept the same 5* crew and had a new 4* crew instead, then I would definitely prefer a rerun.
but I would like an event here where I had a chance in managing a rank 1,500 or below, without breaking the bank, if whales sat out a few evens that may happen
You don´t need to break the bank to achieve what you want (1500 or below) in a Galaxy event. For one you don´t need as much crew as in a shuttle event. Next to some prefarming of always repeating items the main thing you need here is - patience. Save up Chrons for a while and trust me you can easily achieve your target independent from who plays it.
That aside:
DB should even consider an occasional rerun month. Maybe some revenue loss, so I don´t know if it will ever happen, but otherwise nice benefits. For both the users who wish to add more stars to some older characters and DB itself: They could breathe through for a month and focus on finetuning/ bugfixing without the constant pressure to deliver fresh content nearly every week...

Shut up Wesley.
Let's hope DB is watching this.
