New Starbase Room: Shipyard (Proposal)

Once again, we are moments away from maxing our starbase, and I know others are not far behind. So.
What other stats can we improve in the game?
Ship Stats!

Each ship has passive stats like attack damage,accuracy, evasion, crit chance, crit bonus, even shield points, hull points, shield regen rate.

So How about some rooms to improve those? Targeting Computer(accuracy), Alloy Research (hull),Shield Tech,etc.
(maybe my names are terrible but, you get the point).

Perhaps these stats would not be game-changing, but they would be something for us to do, to get those 100 chronitons, which we like ;)

ok, forget my original idea! MORE VOYAGE ANTI-MATTER! MORE CREW SLOTS!

    I can't see myself spending a single Holoemitter to improve my ship stats. As a dump room for other components and continued 100 Chron bonuses per day... sure, why not.

    I really don't see a need for that. Throwing new rooms at the starbase is a band aid, not a solution. They need to come up with a solution for maxed starbases, not just keep extending the problem.

    Yes, but might as well get benefits out of new rooms instead of just dumping endless components just for the 100 chrons.

    Ship boosts are trivial unless the cost of those rooms are equally trivial. They could help voyages with rooms other than boosting ship stats. Maybe rooms that increase anti-matter or shorten the time between dilemmas.

    We are done with our starbase as well(within nxt 24hs). Time to farm holos, so we are ready once new LVs and/or rooms get added. :)

    Extra crew slots would be a great addition

    For Voyages, yes. For the Arena, heck no.

    I did say over on reddit they just need to create a dumping point for the starbase componants.

    Just somewhere you can contribute stuff you don't want and it counts, even if it doesn't return any value.

    Think of a room with infinite components to fill but no benefits back. Our fleet couldnt' give a crap if we never get any benefit out of donating items to a blank space as long as we get those chronos. So just create a "waste reclaimation" room that doesn't ever finish and "build" like the current rooms do that we can donate to and be done with it.

    I would like it if, the extra components actually led to something, some kind of research element to the game, may it be honor, crons, or ship schematics, get 10,000 nanopoly and get 100 hon (as it drops so much) or 50 crons on top of still allowing you to drop your 700 daily allowance and bonuses that comes with that

    I like the idea in another thread that suggests a room to donate all components, keeping the daily chrons reachable, but rather than the donations entering a black void, they are usable for rooms/levels later as they are rolled out. Officers can decide how to apply the collected components.

    Yeah I think the chron regen cap at 180 is way outdated. I almost never have less than 2000 chrons on hand after voyages. Lets start bumping that number by 200 at a time. Maybe ten more levels. Cap it at 2k.
