    I think there are plenty of silly polls, the one you cited is definitely among them. But I think they can be used as valuable tools to convey the desires of the player base to the powers that be at DB. I'd rather have them than not. Besides, polls are fun. It's always nice when someone actually WANTS your opinion.

    It's the best representation of the player base that DB has to go on, whether they are willing to admit it or not. They would be utterly foolish to ignore it.

    No, they'd be utterly foolish to give it undue weight. They do send out random surveys.

    That's the thing, I think it's better than the wall of text suggestions that usually make into Make It So. We may not be a large sample of the user base, but we are a passionate representation with several of the largest whales in the game in here.

    Having seen many suggestions from the forums make it into the game especially the character suggestion ones, I think it is more effective way of communicating forum members desires/feelings to DB.

    No. I always cruise through the list of people who vote against what I want so I can put them on a list of bad people that I can send to Donald Trump so he knows who needs to be dealt with next. I think he said something about a firewall...
