4.0 brings new features, bug fixes and an updated loading screen to Star Trek Timelines. Please note that many of the new features and changes described below will only go live after a forced upgrade to ensure all players are on 4.0. The forced upgrade will occur in about one week.

Since most of us have upgraded already, we will just basically keep checking the cryo chamber.
But DB will probably let us know with ingame message.
Usually a little bit after the fact.
I’m guessing it will be Wednesday when they update for the event
Agreed.. but if they break something with any of the locked features that would be unlocked with the force upgrade, one would hope they'd do it sooner then later..
There is usually a Tuesday Special pack push, my guess / hope is then.
Just went through the various levels of the 'Common Crew' Collection, and it appears the Starbase-type bonus rewards change/rotate.
Of greater significance, it is possible at a higher level of the Collection, to received some Dilithium as a reward!
The rewards are bountiful... For those F2P players who have diligently frozen crew, they'll be getting a fair amount of dilithium from the various collections
1) To Boldly Go... Immortalize crew with the Inspiring trait (##/43)
2) Do No Harm... Immortalize crew with the Doctor trait (##/39)
3) Daystrom Award... Immortalize crew with the Innovator trait (##/32)
4) Valor in Combat... Immortalize crew with the Veteran trait (##/34)
5) Uncommon Crew... Immortalize Uncommon crew (##/41)
6) Rare Crew... Immortalize Rare crew (##/72)
7) The Wild West... Immortalize crew dressed for Earth's Ancient West era (#/6)
8) Common Crew... Immortalize Common crew (##/27)
9) Neutral Zone... Immortalize crew with the Romulan trait (##/12)
10) The Eugenics Wars... Immortalize crew with the Augment trait (##/12)
11) Resistance is Futile... Immortalize crew with the Borg trait (##/17)
12) Rules of Acquisition... Immortalize crew with the Ferengi trait (##/15)
13) Spit and Bailing Wire... Immortalize crew with the Jury Rigger trait (##/29)
14) New Life & New Civilizations... Immortalize crew with the Diplomat trait (##/35)
15) Chain of Command... Immortalize crew with the Cardassian trait (##/20)
16) Live Long and Prosper... Immortalize crew with the Vulcan trait (##/31)
One (silly?) question for Shan. If we claim rewards for a collection of, say, 25 crew, can we also claim the 40 crew reward in that same collection if we complete that later? Basically, is there a downside to claiming all rewards available? I ask because, in some collections, I have the maximum bonus allowed so far, but I noticed it does NOT seem to include the lower tier bonuses for those collections.

What is the situation with that?
There is no downside to claiming, in fact on several collections you have to claim multiple times to get all the different rewards levels.

It's based on crew you've immortalized, so I would think it HAS to be retroactive.
