Searching for Deanna Troi

Please fix it so that when you search for Deanna that all versions of her show up, not just one.

That's not directly possible, as it's currently just a substring match.
What would be needed instead is a feature to search for characters instead of specific crew.

Substrings, as I understand it, don't need to be things that are displayed anywhere... they can just as well be a hidden field — BaseCharacterName or some such thing. I'm still at a loss as to why this seems to have been so difficult for DB to get right.

Right, searching for Deanna or Deanna Troi only get one version to show up. If you search Lwaxana Troi or Lwaxana only one version of her shows up. But if you just search Troi then all versions of both show up.
