So we're up to seven Neelixes now (Neeli?), including Tuvix. I'd say we're gonna need at LEAST three or four Quark events to even things out.

Oh, and more Siskos as well. As always.

Well I was being less than serious, but yes I would like that.

Also, Light Odo, when he turns into the shimmering light stuff and surrounds Kira with it. I always liked that moment.

I'm not sure there is, other than the similarities between the two characters (comic relief/morale roles). The two new Neeli were just a grim reminder of our overall lack of Quark. I don't blame Neelix; hell, there are as many Yars and Ezris in the game than Quark. I just find it odd that a popular seven-season character would be so poorly represented.

As RennJaxo mentioned, it's just that they filled similar roles, yet one is over-represented compared to the other.

It's like when people bring up Archer vs Janeway, or Riker vs Chakotay.

I never really thought of their roles as similar myself, but in that context, I understand.

Haha, I was mostly joking. I actually didn't mind Chakotay as a character, and wished that the writers had figured out more of what to do with him. But the disparity in popularity between him and Riker is pretty massive regardless. (Although I also think that there are far too many Rikers in the game as well).

Completely unrelated, but I like your Cardassian wishlist - though I see it's missing Gul Dar'heel/Marritza!

I wanted to like him, but like I said, he was underused. As a result, I feel like he became rather dull pretty quickly. I started to like him again once they got the Chakotay/Seven going. Also the later parts of the Chakotay/Janeway dynamic was pretty good. Early on they were just kind of awkward and indifferent.

As for the Cardassians... Thanks! There are plenty others of course that should also be added, like Dar'heel as you mentioned, and Gul Evek too, not to mention Legate Damar. But those listed were my favourites/from favourite episodes, and in general there's a lack of Cardassian ladies, which is a shame, so I wanted to highlight those. If enough from my list get added, I'll update it with some new names.
