1 year 2 months into game, I quit
I hit 350 imortz, speant $400 a week on average. Played events, and just got wore out. So many things wrong with game.
1. Programming. Every since they fired everyone, card pics have went to heck, events are stale, and stacked against the average user.
2. Packs, ever since about my 200 crew?? Or so, buying packs starting getting to be a soar spot, since out of 6 crew, I would normally only need 1. And most often would cost a couple hundred dollars just to get the 1crew. (In the beginning it was fine, since I needed every crew)
3. Events programming. Rewards are so screwed for 50,000 plus players or bots
4. Lack of programmers? For new events. I am so wore out of choosing to play a galaxy event or level crew. And here recently a mega event every other month is just horrible.
5. Lack of care about ticket submissions. It’s almost like support is told not to help people by exchanging beholds that just seem unfair. It would only take a lil pixel exchange to keep a person spending.
6. A simple thing in my book to fix, would be crew release to active crew slots. I have bought every slot and still have good cards frozen, I can only imagine what a player that don’t spend $400 a week goes through.
7. My biggest pet peave are the packs that don’t have the special crew, and then get support response, that’s just bad luck for you. When you know after 20-30 packs you should have got at least 1.
8. (EDITED TO ADD) The start of my enjoyment downfall. I really noticed I was on the verge of quitting after the "Great Voyages Nerf". For a person to buy 5* crew, or work hard in events and log in every 3 hours to get good crew rewards, Just so they can go longer in voyages, (which I thought were decent rewards for our crew efforts), Just to have DB pull the plug on longer than 8 hr missions, which was one motivating feature to try to get better crew. to last longer. So I thought DB stole away the best reason to get better crew.
I’m sure I missed a few points, but for these reasons DB can be assured my source of weekly donations have stopped and I will find another game to donate too.
Thank you to Stt and trista for helping me learn game. And allowing me to have fun this past year.

Hell.
It's not that bad. I don't know how anyone could justify spending $400/week on this game
that's just on average. $99 event $49 event, $100 Monday chron 400% offer, $25 DYO, $100-200 special crew offer. and then those weeks, where you spend a couple more hundred, just because you don't have enough chrons, or the drop rate of the special just wasn't good. Let alone spending anything to compete in events. (oh ya, and the stupid tax apple makes you pay.) although I did learn recently if I used steam. a $99 pack really only took $99. Not $106.00
I’ve been playing for almost two years. And yes, at time the game is tough with having to juggle crew slots with new crew. But that’s actually part of the strategy of the game. I understand that I’m never going to immortalise everyone - I have to pick and chose who I want to keep.
I’m VIP level 13. So I’ve spent a bit (but considerably less than you). I stopped buying things about 6 months ago when I realised the return on my investment was decreasing. I’m now happy with what I’ve spent as it’s given me a decent boost and allows me to make too 1000 in any event I wish; and I am totally fine with that. In fact, I haven’t bothered to seriously play the past few events because the 5* hasn’t interested me enough and I have enough 1/5* sat in my crew quarters waiting to be levelled.
The game has got some flaws, but you’ve created some yourself by basically buying yourself out of the game. What’s the point in buying all of the crew and then playing in the events to win the same crew again? For me, the biggest thing that keeps me coming back is the community. I’ve made some good friends in this game. My fleet are a friendly, chatty group and we have our own Discord server. Without them, I may have left the game long ago.
As an aside, if anyone is spending more than they can afford on games like this, please, go and seek professional help as you probably have a gambling addiction. These games are meant to be fun. When the fun stops; stop.
Nothing like this. I spend about $4.84 a week and I am making considerable more progress in the game than you. You probably felt pressure to spend because of your fleet. Find a good F2P fleet. Many of them are also making more progress than you and not spending anything.
You cannot buy your way to the finish line then complain the race was pointless. And I agree with Aki....you sound like you have a gambling problem. Get some help.
DB released a game so that they could make money, true. But I don’t think they imagined anyone would be ploughing in that sort of cash.
LOL. They offer, $99 event crew pack. $99 Monday 400% offer, a weekly 6500 Dil offer per pull. Almost $99 per pull.. I think this is exactly what they would like from a lot of players per week.
Personally, when I go to a supermarket, I just buy the things that I need to buy.
Anyway. I believe you were quitting. Don’t let me hold you up on your way out of the revolving door.
as a bot account, You didn't hold me up. I don't mind explaining to your company why they have not seen my donations last week, or this week.
Sorry to see you leave. I've enjoyed some of your posts in the past.
PM for details.
So long and thanks for all the fish.
