Anyone else late to the event due to daylightsavingstime?

Last time i didn't forgot because it was explicitly stated.
But it has been wired in my brain that an event starts at dabo time, that i dind't pay attention to it this time.
And now it starts an hour before dabot time.
The fact that in the last day the event button more often then else said 'commin soon' threw me of too.

Looking for people who are sharing in the same misery.

  • Nope. Events have always been noon, not Dabo Time since Dabo does flip flop with the time changes

Most of us are feeling the chocolate cronutyness of the event start for different reasons, so feel free to join the festivities. (:

I had to double check because I'm in a no DST area, but I found the countdown timer helpful for that.

Yepp, no magic involved to check the in game event timer. Well for some there seems to be though...lol ;)

I'm in Arizona so this time of year the events start an hour earlier. I was prepared though.

So i'm just looking for related souls trying to make myself feel better that i'm no alone and you feel the need to kick a dog while he's allready down.
And if you had bother reading, you'dd know the timer was of no use as most of the time it would just say 'coming soon' instead of actually showing a timer.

I don’t think that was meant as harshly as you seem to have read it. Though I could be incorrect.

For me, the event countdown works well. Perhaps it does for @Zombie Squirrel as well.

I am sorry to hear that yours does not.

I think some of us on the forums also follow Stellar Ice’s fleederboard (fleeterboard? fleaderboard? Hmm) and she mentioned the change in event time in relation to Dabo time a few times while instructing us to post at the new event time, not Dabo time. Certainly helped me to remember the change.
  • I wasn't late but I did send out my shuttles two and a half hours before the event thinking I had three and a half hours.

Had to spend dilithium to get them back.

It doesn't help that things like Dabo resets are still at the same time they were last week. Throws me everytime.

I was late by ~20 min, and I was sharing the crew. Fortunately, no one else from my squad was on time either. Made the same mistake as the OP regarding DST, but in truth it was my own fault. My event timer was working fine, and the event release notes were clear about the start time. I just sent out morning shuttles/voyage w/o paying attention to all the clues. Just lucky that I checked in when I did. Solution: more coffee before playing the game in the morning!
