"Galaxy Quest" Nod

One of the Section 31 builds I'm this week's Galaxy event Phase 2 is "A Rudimentary Lathe", which is a clear nod to Galaxy Quest. I thought that was very fitting, since even though Galaxy Quest is a parody of Star Trek, it was very well done, and you can't do a parody of that quality without a detailed knowledge of, and affection for, the source material.

    I love Galaxy Quest. I once heard it described as the best Star Trek movie. It isn't the best, but it is far better than a few of them.

    Only one I'd watch more often would be Wrath of Khan, or MAYBE Voyage Home.
