New Admiral Function

Allow the Fleet Admiral to place captains that are not in a squadron into squadrons with openings.

  • I'd be in favor of this being a Fleet Admiral ability, although the ability to reassign squadron leader before kicking an inactive player would be a higher priority to be added.

A good idea, hope they listen

    I like both ideas.

    +1

Foolish question here....Why can’t they get into the squadron on their own?

Is it an issue where someone accidentally set it to invite only? Is the person not online enough to let people into the squad? Is someone purposely trying to keep others out?

Because some poeple just don’t join. A way to fill squads for events.

If people do not want to do squads (or just don’t for whatever reason), do not force them to do so. I know several fleets where some people just go solo... However, if that is against any previously stated fleet requirements in regard to joining squads (and going on limited information as I do not know the dynamics/inner-workings of your fleet), then I would postulate those individuals do not fit the fleet culture and potential replacement is in order. If unwilling to replace, then my question would be whether or not it is that big of an issue then? Just my two cents.

I would like to see a list of daily targets for the previous 3 days. That way I can see who has been useful and who hasn't, without waking up at 5:55 to read the previous list.

Yes, it nice to have fleet participation, but as Admiral if you're too poky joining a squad then one will be assigned to you.

If you put that in fleet notes as an expectation, isn’t it easier to just remove people for noncompliance as opposed to forcing them into a squad? Being clear with fleet expectations should make this a moot point.
