I realize his character on the holodeck wasn't a pilot, but all Rikers should have the pilot trait!

    Shan said somewhat recently that they were looking into the consistency of traits for costumed crew. I got the impression that they MIGHT make some changes there, though possibly just changes to their processes for deciding which crew have which traits.

    Either way, I don't think that one will be changed any time soon.
