DB - why don't you want my money?
in The Bridge
This is the third week in a row where I would have splashed out on event packs but for the inclusion of a character I already have immortalised. And I know I'm not alone. I just don't understand why you don't eliminate the possibility of pulling FF characters. It defies all logic.
I'm still loving this mega event but I can't afford to take the risk of wasting real money when the odds are never in my favour.

Same here. There are a lot of existing crew I don't have FF. I like the opportunity to get more stars on them.
Citations for either 4* or 5* {Depending on the Behold level} is the only logical way to do it. And they could be used at a later time, Since new Crew are being introduced almost every week. {Except when an Event is a Re-Run.}
The game obviously can see who we have, since a Behold shows the Star Level of any Crew in the Behold we already have. Just have the Behold not include Fully Fused Crew, or offer a Citation if all we can get is Fully Fused.
Not a perfect solution, but better than people getting 12* and 15* Beholds...................

if you do have extra money and you don’t spend it on the game, I recommend you to invest them on low cost index fund. check vanguard or other brokers. It’ll give you more ROI compared to investing on dilithium (that has 0% interest and losing its buying power due to inflation)
when you need it, you can always liquidate and buy dilithium.
disclaimer: i am not financial advisor and i do have some dilithium left in my DB bank account
The next step, in my opinion, would allow for the one-time press of "reshuffle." It would always be there, even when you don't have a fully-immortal behold. Once players press it, they can't go back. I'm sure a lot of people would press it just to see what their options are, but effectively it would just double the chance of getting a card you actually need.
Seems fair to me.
DB seems to think a single star on a legendary is worth somewhere between $25-125. I don’t expect a legendary citation pack to pop up that any rational person would find enticing.
You don't, and neither do It, but clearly there are enough people who will continually buy a single pack until they get the one card they want, even if that's the legendary, that it's worthwhile for DB. As a rule, I never buy packs where I have a least one character FF, although I have been a sucker a broken that rule occasionally when there's been at least one character I want (which, I know, makes me a part of the problem).
