Plus I see that Trelane has strong Gauntlet Sci. This one is a tough choice.

Well, I had to make a quick decision so I could get to bed. And I had some final daily mission’s to run yet. Sure wish they let you put beholds to the side for a while instead of holding up the rest of the game . Anyway, I went with Picard. His 1/5 stats were much better than Trelane’s except for gauntlet . And I was considering how often Picard gets used in events.

I would have been torn here too. I'd prefer Trelane 'cause he was just such a fun character, but hard to argue if you had chosen either of the captains for their main-cast event value. My heart says Trelane, my head says Picard was the better choice.

I completely agree about needing an option to put off the decision in a behold. Even if it's just for a few hours. Sometimes you just need to do something else besides research crew stats.
