Steam client buttons do not line up

The activation area for each UI element in the Steam client don't line up to the graphics. You can test this out just about anywhere. Slowly move your mouse cursor towards a UI element while clicking. You'll see that, depending on the direction you come from, you will either get over the graphic and your clicks do nothing or you will click on a blank area of the screen and it will register as if you clicked on the element.
This just cost me the wrong Behold choice, which I have put a ticket in for. I already know this is going to be a fight to get the choice that I wanted instead of the one that I didn't, so in the future you could save me and whichever unfortunate customer service person is going to be assigned to my ticket a lot of trouble in the future by fixing this one ASAP.
It's possible this bug persists in the iOS and Android versions of the game, but since touch is already an inexact science, it can't really be tested, at least not on my end.
