Faction Mission Rewards

So I have been playing the game for quite a while now... and all of my factions are 100%. In the rewards I always see points for faction honor, now this as a reward is doing nothing for me now and just wasting space... Could it be possible that when faction = 100% the reward could be replaced with regular honor?

    I had the same idea just the other day but then discovered they don't accumulate as items in any case. Sad face emoji.
