Sound issue on Facebook

Hi y'all!

I see various reports of no sound on Facebook so let's get relevant information in this thread.

What browser and operating system are you using when encountering the issue?
When did it start?

On my end I have no sound on Chrome/Mac but I have sound on Opera/Windows.

    I normally play ithout sound but just put sound option on and I have no sound, I play on Facebook and use Google Chrome as that is what is what my chromebook came with

    Signs point to this being due to a change from Google/Chrome and it affects multiple games. We are looking into it.

    Copy/pasting from another thread as the issues seem related.

    We are still working in this.
    However it is potentially linked to a new Chrome policy regarding Auto-Play and there is a workaround that you can try, should you wish to.

    Open a new tab in chrome and type or copy/paste:
    chrome://flags/#autoplay-policy

    There set "Autoplay Policy" to "No user gesture is required".

    A restart of Chrome will be needed for the change to come into effect.

    There are sound issues in the mobile version too. Even when the sound is set to 0%, the sound is on. You have to set it to a non-zero percentage then reset it back to zero. Every. Single. Time. You. Play.

    It's been going on for months, CS has ignored tickets about it claiming it doesn't happen to anyone.
