My best guess would be the DS9/Augment Mega starting June 7th. June starts on a Friday this year, so I don't think they will start the June Mega Event on May 31st.

For the recurring Legendary, I'm hoping for a new Bashir (with Engineering as a secondary skill, putting those engineering extension courses to work!). Bashir is both DS9 main cast and an Augment, so I feel it makes sense.
If they continue the proud tradition of making the recurring Legendary a character I don't want at all, they will probably make it one of the 'mutants' from Statistical Probabilities or Malik from Enterprise.

On the one hand i really want Admiral Patrick, but on the other he most likely wouldn't be a strong engineer, but high in science, and we just got Surak. But it would make my day if Patrick was high in ENG AND the recurring legendary!!

what's funny with Bashir is that he could have great everything.

Security - he is an Augment
Science - he was a great scientist who was able to find new cures with limited resources.
Med - a great medicine
ENG - he showed that he is great ENG with his Augmented mind when he created a device in his head with which they entered Sloan's mind

Command and Diplomacy - well that are only skills where he isn't any good.

I would like to see Patrick and the other misfits in the game, but none of them necessarily need to be the recurring 5, or even a 5 at all.

I feel like I may be alone in this, but I am hoping that we don't get all of the Misfits. Cramming all 4 of them into this mega would just be overkill for me. I'm fine if it's 1 or 2, but there are other Augments who can and should be featured as well, not just the Misfits. I'd love to see more Dominion-related characters, more Changelings like Changeling Martok or Changeling Kira, another Breen like Thot Pran, more Vorta like Eris or another Weyoun, more Jem'Hadar like Ikat'Ika or Omet'Iklan. We have so few Dominion characters as is.

Recurring should be Bashir. He's the resident Augment of DS9 after all.

But all the Misfits should still make an appearance. Especially Admiral Patrick.

I too would love to see more Dominion crew, but unfortunately the Dominion came in second place behind the Augments in the Mega Event poll, so I don't have high hopes at all.

Maybe we will get a TNG/Dominion event in August or September?

You are not alone. Jack himself is, I believe, wholly unlikeable and Lauren didn’t do much on her own. “Admiral” Patrick might make for an interesting 5* (although not the recurring one) and Sarina would definitely be a good 4*. And unless the narrative of the event makes for a more obvious choice, I would think the recurring 5* would have to be a Bashir variant.

I’m still pulling hard for possessed versions of Dukat, Kira, and especially Jake. And Patriot Sisko. And Lightship Sisko. And Chancellor Martok. And Malik. And 20th Century Warlord Khan. There are so many good choices of crew from both DS9 overall and the Augments that I would hate for spots to be wasted on some frankly weak characters.

Nope, you’re not alone in thinking that. I wasn’t hoping for ALL of the Jack Pack (great name for them BTW), but one or two would be good. And the idea of having them as 3*s is good cos in a way they are failed/second-rate augments

I know this is nit-picky, but summer doesn’t officially start until 21st June.

A few of us originally thought the mega event might be July or August but I believe they confirmed June in the Q&A.

I could cope with 1 or 2 of the misfits, or to have them all but as 4* only.

You know, they haven't gone with a wholy original character as the recurring for a Mega yet. Thinking about it, I wouldn't be opposed to an Augment Sisko in that position if (and only if) he's an Engineering beast.
