Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing.

Most of the time, it doesn't happen. I've run plenty of longer Voyages since the first time it happened without a problem. Just every so often... and the worst case scenario is that you get reimbursed for your troubles. I've always at least been able to recall it, so I've never lost any crew who might've dropped during the Voyage.

I’ve seen stories where Voyages are stuck for really long periods of time. I am taking it that means the crew you have out there is unavailable to you for that long period of time
I seem to remember hearing some folks talking about a different issue where they didn't even have the option to recall (maybe?), but this is the one that's far more common. And in this one, you always have the option of recalling the Voyage, so your crew wouldn't be stuck any longer than if you'd been able to complete it normally.

In regards to compention, ya I appercatie the dil back, but I can buy more dil cheaper then I can purple and chronos lol
"be a bit more conservative when choosing when to recall your voyage to avoid this."
I do not get to choose when my voyages run out of am, and if I spend dil on refills(which I'm geuss you as a company like us doing ,because hey you like money lol), plus rewards are better 10 plus hrs on extended voyages
Way its phrased says dont spend money recall early, just a heads up
When this happens, ask them to escalate your ticket. I recently had a problem where the initial CS rep was talking straight out of their butt and I called them out on it and asked them to escalate. I woke up the next morning with the problem resolved, a bunch of sorrytons, and a message that straight up said the CS rep had no idea what they were talking about and they were taking the opportunity to retrain that CS rep on proper procedure. No joke. That is a thing that happened.
To be fair, though, I seem to recall Shan and/or BP saying something not too different from that — along the lines of "try to recall with at least 30 AM remaining to avoid a situation like this in the future" (which I think is solid advice in any case).
Edit: My bad, everyone — I got confused and thought this was the thread talking about a Voyage not making it back successfully with less than 30 AM remaining. My statement above is in regards to that situation, not the one where the Voyage gets stuck.

I won't do long voyages like that again.
I lost the rewards (crew/chrons etc) from two dilemmas, had crew tied up in the middle of an event and lost a lot of time...
I found for the 10 hour fail, a restart would clear it occasionally. A swap to another device often did, and swapping to steam really often did. And then typically if it went to 12h that would stick and nothing I did would shift it. Nowadays I just never extend voyages much, the last 3 or 4 I did got to 10h without problem. But that's probably over the last month.
Is it just lodge a ticket each time? Seems like a waste.
No response to my support ticket yet, so not only have wasted 3 dilithium refils and 14 hours on a voyage, but another 10 hours waiting for an answer to a support ticket when i could have my voyage back out!
Pretty disappointed my support ticket hasn’t been looked at @shan - 14 hours and counting now. Looks like I might miss out on the daily achievements today
cs can also compensate you for missed daily rewards, you just have to ask.
Very poor showing, DB. It shows a lack of understanding of the issue and impact, and a lack of respect for the customer.
I would recommend to people not to spend dilithium on voyage refreshes until this problem is rectified, unless you’re satisfied with after 3 days with support *maybe* being offered the final refresh as a pitiful excuse for a refund “as a one time courtesy” on the whim of the support operative.
I’ve asked the issue to be escalated, and will be avoiding future purchases if there isn’t a better resolution.
@shan would you say that response is acceptable?
