This is more of a notice then anything..
As I wasn't aware of this and never seen it listed where .. (just discovered this in a horrifying moment when I thought my 3 day supply kit had vanished into nothingness)
There is a cap of 148 displayed accessable messages in your in game mailbox.
#149 pushes #1 out of view but after messages have been confirmed /accepted / cleared, earlier messages reappear.
Hopefully this prevents a customer service ticket and panic attack for someone else.
