There is an empty spot in factions. Is that a glitch or a surprise?

    In my history, a temporary glitch in the continuum. But shows promise of more to come and the factions are scalable.

    This has been happening after events for months. The official word from DB is that they aren't adding a new faction any time soon, so don't read too much into it.

    If memory serves, the explanation is that it is a dummy faction that tracks the difficulty of faction event shuttles independently of the normal difficulty for each event faction.

    Glitch. Happens every Faction Event. And it's not going to be fixed. The last Q&A said there were no plans to go back and fix the faction code because it was too difficult and would break the game. The guy that hacked the code out probably was a fatality of the 50% head count reduction "right sizing" event a year ago.
