    Fun Fact, because of this incident, Starfleet changed their command uniform to Red, because Starfleet knew they had to be wrong.

    Nothing could be further from the truth, there are fans a-plenty, the name was supposed to be corrected prior to the crew going live. And as happens things got sidetracked and this fell through the cracks.
