Automatic unfreeze

I know everyone finds joy in the parts of the game that speaks to them. For me, I'm a gauntlet'er all the way.
But it annoys me terribly, that I always have to search through all of my crew for matching traits, because I only get to see the matching traits for the currently UNFROZEN crew.
Why can't we just get the ability to see matching traits for ALL crew, and then get offered to pay for an unfreeze if we want to use that crewman ? Why should I HAVE to, manually, find out which crewman matches the skills, and then go find him in my freezer and then unfreeze ?
I know it's probably a luxury problem, and that most people do not freeze their top gauntlet chars. But it would be a nice, and time saving feature.
