DB, Take Heed. Skirmish is what you need to fix the Arena

Skirmish is what Arena should be like. 3 random ships with crew traits to provide buffs, to rank up you complete as many of the 3 battles as possible. The enemy ships are random players already in the ladder with their own crews much like it is now.

If you convert Arena to play like this, it'll be much more interesting and provide a larger variety of ships and crews.

OTOH, it will take forever to advance in the arena if you have to fight 3 ships instead of one.

Each battle can rank you up a bit, winning 3 in a row would push you further than just one.

Like how different arena matches currently give you different rank amounts (winning right side gives you about 400 positions per win on the ladder).
