More than 6 weeks of starry skies. I submitted a ticket asking them to please give me something else so I could give them money. They said no. Didn’t really expect them to.

I wonder if I bought the offer if would it change next week. Kind of feels like they REALLY want me to.

    I had a 10 for 12.99 last week and I bought it straight up. First time in weeks that I hadn't had starry skies. But starry skies came back this morning, not that I've got the money for anything, but still. It's annoying. I don't even know what I'm missing out on lol! Unless the last event in the mega event is going to be an arena battle of course ;)

    I feel like Voyages make 5* ship diversity more useful. Got to match traits now. They would have to make the bonus bigger for me to use 4* ships.

    I've been getting Starry Skies lately too, and I'll never bite on that one. I guess I should be thankful, I was getting Reach Your Goals before (which is a really great but expensive offer), but I can't afford to spend $50 a week on this game. I guess my special deal is that I get to save money.

    I got Starry Skies for weeks, like seven or eight times. Seem to have broke the curse though as the last two offers have been prem pack offers. I'm guessing it's just a waiting game... or they were playing chicken with me and swerved first lol.gif

    I have had the prem crew pack offers for the last 6/7 weeks and the last two weeks I have had the starry skies offer, so maybe they have swapped them around! Needless to say, I wont be buying as the starry skies offer really **tsk tsk** and doesn't offer enough prints to make a dent in the NX enterprise and I have the others maxed! Annoying as now they have updated the portal there is a chance I might get some non dupes from the packs.

    I was fortunate enough to get a different offer for once this week - which I promptly purchased within five minutes. I expect I'll get another ships offer next week, though, and ignore it as I usually do.

    DB - you are losing money every week.

    Maybe the irony is that we play because we’re Star Trek fans, those hopeful idealists that like to think things will get better when we raise valid concerns about fairness and balance, etc and we forget that DB’s greed openly mocks the values espoused by the franchise they have a license for.

    Got the 10 for $10 one last week (and bought it) after 6 or more weeks of starry skies. Then yesterday I got starry skies again. Several fleet mates have also had the same crappy luck with only getting ship schematic offers.

    These are completely useless now with the prevalence of replicator rations in voyages. Make an offer that includes credits and I'd be super happy (as long as it has no schematics in it).

    With these schematics that won't even raise the mentioned ships level from 5 to 6..
    And that all are already completed anyways..
    Any don't come into play in any event..
    And aren't really useful in Voyages as I've also finished all the 5 star ships (save for the hirogen, nx01 and Ktinga )

    (Dear DB, the previous statement is what I suspect you hope to see from people who got this offer. Not gonna happen. Only new players, who have been here less then a week would buy this. I'm glad I'm not stuck anymore with stary skies repeating 5 weeks in a row again.. Yet.. but I want to spend money on something that's actually useful in the game. Can we try to make that happen please ? )

    I have the starry skies offer too...again. What would be the point of me spending $25USD to get schematics where I have 2/3 ships in the offer at max level? Not that I’d get it if I didn’t have them at max level but this seems even more ludicrous.

    Unfortunately I'm now getting that pack offer. And I can't express how little my interest is in it. 25 dollars for 2100 ship schematics (2 of which most everybody has maxed out) and a 1000 dilithium is not a deal. Go pound sand DB.

    Lol you can get the packs and not open them til slots open up. If I wasn't so assured of duplicates, that'd be what I'd do esp since freeing up slots is so much easier with the extra chrons out there.

    This is bull crap that some people (including me) get starry skies over and over. DB is actively suppressing our ability to compete against people who get pack offers in events.

    Please DB, listen to reason on this issue..
    Put two or four of these offers in the Time Portal every week for a day, limit # of purchases per customer. Do two ship scheme deals, one or two crew deals (or one crew, one Dilithium) and let people buy stuff.

    My wife got the 15 pack +1500 Dilithium deal offered this week. She wanted it. Could afford it
    (The 10 for 10 would have been better) but she rejected it. Wanna know why ?

    Because I got a ship schematics offer,
    And what we have loved doing in the past was both getting the deal and taking turns opening the packs. It's fun. It's no fun doing it alone.
    Yes I told her myself she could get it and wait to open them till I get one if she liked..

    But who knows if or when that will be ?

    Why do you think there are often pack opening threads and community 10 pack threads ?

    It's an emotion. A statistical counter can not pick up the human emotion.

    And look at this weeks threads..
    Not really a big thread for opening this time like in the past. Why? I can only guess that people may be sympathetic to the other players not getting the offers.. so people are trying not to rub in the salt so much. (But that's just my perspective)

    Oh, and please restore Voyages payouts to original day one levels. The changes have not gone unnoticed and the lack of communication, confirmation or discussion about it.. remains disturbing but I digress, that's not what this thread is about.

    Let's get back on track to you making loads of money and us having fun with it feeling guilty or worried about it

    I know, but I just refuse the idea that I have to pay for new crew which I can't keep unless I pay again for slots. I get more than enough crew via weekly events and I hate to put 4* crew in the freezer.

    In many cases, you pay 10 or more times what the crew originally costs if you want to keep them.

    Those slot sales are quite the mafia racket.
