Quick question about skirmish events...

So we’ve learned that crew bonuses don’t stack... so
1x Weyoun/ Breen Dukat/ interfaced LaForge will give maximum bonuses even when used alone as the only event crew on board your ship.

And last time ships with bonuses were less effective than sticking with your normal legendary ship from the Arena. So my question:

Why would anyone use 350 dil to attempt to build a bonus ship if they already have legendary ships and an event crew at their disposal?

Collectors.

You get 575 of the 5* schems from the event, but you need 600 to build level 1. So, off to the portal you go. If you're a collector, you don't want a level 1 ship sitting there, doing you no good - so you pull and pull and pull.

Your observations about bonus crew setups are spot on.

You're 100% correct. The event mechanics really make no sense. These events needed a massive rework. But people seem to like thoughtless button pushing that provides rewards. So the event has stayed the same instead of redesigning it around an actual game instead of a mindless grind.
