Way overdue for another former-limited-crew release to the standard premium portals

Late last year, we were told that there would be new formerly-limited crew moved to the regular premium portals every couple of months, and that cycle did occur pretty regularly for a couple of batches.

However, at this point we haven't had another batch pushed to the premium portals since June - going on 6 months ago at this point, and I believe the last time someone inquired in the forums about the lack of an update was August, at which point the issue was acknowledged.

Any news on this front available? We should, in theory, have crew that were introduced up through June in the regular portals.

    The strange thing is, some crew from the events prior to the last batch update were not added while others were. I would love to see those crew in addition to the ones that were introduced after the last update in the packs. I would love to add the last star to The Traveler for example, without using Honor for the 5* Citation or obtaining him from special packs that appear infrequently. I have other 5* that need more than that, and a few 4* that need one more.
    There are three ways to do something; the right way, the wrong way, and the Janeway.

    It has always been advertised that they might elect to hold back some limited crew (presumably, ones that were still driving sales), but unless they're going to argue that everything from February through June is being deliberately held back on an individual basis, they should either admit they're not going to do it anymore, or get on with it.

    I know it's kept me from bothering with some of these offers for multiple premium portals.

    Exactly. And I would guess, based on the behavior of how crew appears in the portals and Dabo, that the "is in this pool/isn't in this pool" for each character is a yes/no switch that needs toggling. Doesn't exactly suggest a massive effort in order to make that happen, it just has to be even a faint priority for DB.

    Thing is, I totally would buy a pack for Prospero Data if I knew I could get him.
    I really want him in my crew.

    In the last month since that Treasures pack, some of the limited crew since February have been in packs. DB didn't announce they were doing this. However, there seems to be no rhyme or reason on what crew is in packs now, and which is still limited. For example, I got 23rd Century Martok as a choice in a behold. Martok was only released 2 months ago during the Klingon Mega Event. Meanwhile there is still some crew from February and after that still seem to be limited.

    From the wiki: "23rd Century Martok was added 7-Sep-2016 as the top ranked reward in the Faction event, The Trouble with Klingons 2."

    So, he's been in the game more than a year.
