I wonder why their favorite games (in the profile) are not star trek timelines.

It is just for promotion, oversight or they really like GoT better?

When I first came to the new forums my favorite game was defaulted to GoTA, so it's also possible that's the same for others and they haven't bothered to change it. Or maybe they just don't like STT as much.

Yup could well be default, I didn't even know "favourite game" was a thing until now (and mine was apparently Game of Thrones too).
