I've spent months waiting on a 10x for $10 offer to pop up. DB's algorithm hasn't seemed to catch yet that I'm not interested in being assimilated with a bunch of Borg Sphere schems. You can have my money, DB! Here it is! Just bring out that 10x for $10 offer and it's yours.
And of course, everyone who DOES get that offer is getting a chance to be more competitive in future events, in Voyages, in the Gauntlet, etc. Allowing people to choose their offer (even if there's a built in limitation to once per month or whatever) gives players the choice in how to spend their money, bringing both balance for the game and greater profit for DB.

I would like to see a special offers UI in game. The UI could list all special offers and a captain could take advantage of one offer per week/two weeks/month with each offer providing a unique combination of goodies, but balanced appropriately.
But, my career isn't dependant on designing a game that makes money so I don't presume to know what effect it would have on sales.

I'm not sure DB have realized that in order for us to spend and support the game we actually need a reasonably priced pack freely available.
Am I EVER going to spend 100$ to collect a single 2-off a 5* character and get 10 pulls where none might be the featured legendary? No!
Am I willing to spend 10$ regularly for the *chance* of getting extra stars for my favorite characters quite possibly.

They are certainly leaving MY money on the table. I have no interest in buying the Schematic offer and they keep showing it to me. If they showed me the 10x for $10, they'd be getting my money. And I'm not sure I see a scenario where they are LESS likely to sell offers when players have a choice of what they are getting.

I thought there were extras added to the 30 pack offer. I just know that DP really values Dilithium and in my opinion inflates its value to much.

Start with the 10 for $10. Now triple it, so it's 30 for $30. Add 1500 dilithium, which sells for $20. There's your price.
So it's the inclusion of the 1500 that lowers the value.
Ya people are obviously getting more it is just that people don't value Dil the same way as DB. 1500 not as useful later in the game as early on when you can use it for shuttles or crew slots. 1500 later is just not worth buying in my opinion when the monthly card gives you twice that (obviously not upfront though).

I am not interested in buying airlock fodder for the trickle down effect on the honor.
So even the 10/10 pack is uninteresting unless it guaranteed 5*s
Also, the Halloween offer for USS Disco schematics.
Too many schematics, too many duplicates of 3 & 4 stars that will just end up with me turning $10 into not even enough honor to get a citation with.
