Schems seem to be one of the few things we can't grind, now that we have the honor mechanic and the trusty replicator. It would be great to see a system implemented that allowed for you to send Crew, components, etc. to build and upgrade ships. This would allow for us to slowly improve the one area of the game we have little to no control over.

    My Jem'Hadar fighter has been sitting at level 5/7 forever.
    I got 600 schematics for one of the Hirogen ships on an off-chance in a voyage. But there's no way for me to get Hirogen schematics aside from that extremely rare possibility of a drop.
    Admiral of the Haus of GaghGagh, Starbase level 94, we are not accepting members at this time.
    Captain of the voyage vessels: Queen of Bashir, Landsknecht, and Sunspear, the first luxury starship cruiseliners.
    Amenities include wifi, fully-functioning holodecks, a full-service bar, 3 party decks, a Trill spa, and a business centre.
    Fun fact: The ships are propelled by bouncy castle technology.

    Would be a good idea, but I'll say "meh" as long as there's no real point to having more than one ready ship. Maybe some day we'll get some sort of ship game mode like we've been talking about for a while, but until then I wish they'd just stop releasing new ones.

    Yes, I got one of the Hirogen packs early when they were introduced, and only got a 150 Hirogen Warship (Out of the 600 needed to build the ship), and other schems for anything BUT Hirogen. It has been months and I have never seen Hirogen schems as rewards, although a few ppl have said they have got them from voyages.

    My Voyager has been sitting at level 8/9 with 1230/1300 schematics for over a year. I'm convinced I will never get this thing maxed out. If there's a place I can farm them let me know. Would love to finish her out.

    I hear that... there do need to be alternatives for the non 2-star ships. I just wanted to make sure LG can go finish the JHF in the meantime.

    If you play long enough you will eventually max out all of the non-exclusive ships.

    I have all of them maxed out except for the new ones and the pay-only ones. I have thousands of schematics sitting around that I can’t do anything with.

    And with replicator rations dropping in Voyages, schematics aren’t even useful for the replicator anymore.

    You'd think, but it seems like I'll never get the final 246 Voyager schemes I need (VIP 12 and been playing almost from the start).

    I still use mine in the replicator, why I don't know. Should probably save them in the hopes that there will be a mechanism someday where I can trade them for schemes I can use (NX-01, Hirogen, etc.).
