iOS update: slower for everybody or just me?

I play mostly on an iPad Pro 9.7 in that’s about 14 months old. After upgrading to latest iOS— the one that changes the system tray— I’m getting horrible framerates in normal ship view and in arena. It’s already cost me one match and I’m wondering whether I should be ticked at Apple or DB.

    The only thing i seem to have noticed is worse battery life. I need to have a fresh charge for an official comparison though.

    Just my impression after a few minutes of play. May also have had too many processes running in the bg. I'll try to reduce memory load and test further.

    Seems to have resolved itself, maybe as part of today's update with the re-jiggered traits.
