I know that they were the only two skills that really made sense for her but I just don’t need more ENG/SCI right now, especially in a two-skill crew. Love the NASA theme, though.
NASA theme as we celebrate the Moon Walk anniversary -- Awesome.
Celebrating women of color from the show that brought us TV's first interracial kiss -- Awesome.
Two-skill Eng-Sci crew who will never be event crew -- Not Awesome.

Woulda been nice (though perhaps not canon) if they gave her tertiary med as a nod to Mae Jemison herself.

Agreed, if Yelgrun can have the musician trait, Palmer can have MED as a tertiary skill.
The name of the card makes it look like her name is JG Palmer. But the JG is part of her rank... Lieutenant Junior Grade.
I saw that and my first thought was “someone at DB thinks her name is JG” LOL
Oh nah nahhhh, you see her name IS JG! It’s a tribute to future Star Trek recurring guest J.G. Hertzler. Those TNG writers were practically clairvoyant!
Actual astronaut on the anniversary, with two other legendaries I'd also be very happy with, and nobody coming up I desperately want - that's enough to get me to blow through my dilithium on a Tuesday pack.
...didn't work, of course. But over five packs I got an extra star each for Mirror Vic, Dark Ages McCoy, and the fifth star for de Neuf, so that's not too bad. Finally got the last Borg collection rank.
As none of the pack crew would have been honor for me I jumped in. Bought 3 packs, got 3 Stametses in a row plus 2 other behold purples, then I stopped as this turned my 1* Stamets into FF. Well, could have been worse, I suppose, but better as well.

I'd be shocked if that wasn't the case.
