Posted this in the other thread, but it bears repeating in the proper place (in the vain hope that @STT Community will read it and communicate it appropriately).
Entrepreneur Quark is the new event crew, but he's a 5*. So the existing 4* becomes the threshold reward, and a semi-random 4* becomes the ranked reward (Icheb should be relevant for the following week's event). They've done this before, often enough that it's become a standard practice, but it's infuriating every single time they do it.
It's even worse that this is a galaxy event, when we'll all get 4 copies of the useless repeat crew rather than a useful, immortalised new 4*. If they'd calculated the worst possible way to annoy the players, this would be near the top of the list.
In Event Hub the Event Rules lists bonus crew, omitting Icheb completely. In Messages the Galaxy Event Notes the event crew list has Icheb 4*, not Disorderly. As Disorderly is among rewards, that's clearly the correct crew, but the information given here and in-game should be uniform.

Icheb is not an event crew. He's the standard 4* filler when they add an extra 5* crew.
This entire event/thread is a pretty good summary of how far downhill this game and company has fallen. If not for the recurring Evek, I'd probably sit this entire event out, which I've never done before.
Straight up, this game isn't fun anymore, and these baffling decisions seem designed to drive away those of us who have stuck around this long. Do Better.
All these changes to galaxy events are obviously due to event pack sales being much lower than other events. Players get all 4 copies of the new SR crew thanks to community rewards, and the 5* event crew is won the previous event, so there is far less reason to purchase event packs for galaxy events, compared to other event types.
