Gorgan OE starts tonight. Quick random question.

I'm about the re-watch the episode on Paramount, so it's been a while.

But, wasn't the character called THE Gorgan? Just trying to remember.

I've been saying "The Gorgan" for over a week now.....

    According to IMDB and the memory alpha Star Trek wiki he’s listed as Gorgan.

    IMO ‘And the Children Shall Lead’ is the worst episode of the original series so I refuse to spend the time to watch it again. As far as the bad episodes go I’d rather watch ‘The Alternative Factor’ (1st season) or ‘Spock’s Brain (3rd season).

    It's kind of funny. The kids NEVER say who he is and out of nowhere Kirk is telling them to summon "the Gorgan" when his name has never been mentioned the whole episode. The rest of the episode, the credits say "Gorgan" when he speaks and Kirk calls him "Gorgan " a couple of times.

    I must have been remembering Kirk saying "the Gorgan" that first time.

    According to IMDB the episode’s director and some of the cast wanted Raymond Burr to play Gorgan. For whatever reason we got stunt casting a high profile lawyer instead.

    I like to imagine an alternate version of that episode in The Animated Series, something like this...
