I'll give the new look a chance but it is a pretty drastic change. The old look was much more "Trekish" to me. This seems kind of sterile but if it keeps out the spam then I'll get used to it. Least we can add our fleet tags.

^^^ This. Also the avatars are a bit tiny. I cannot use my original with the "I don't believe in the no win scenario" anymore, because it was unreadable.

So my suggestion is: (1) Make the avatars bigger (There is spare space enough) (2) Make the background darker again, maybe just copy&paste the old background image.

My eyes! I can barely read this. White text with white background. I want a black background option so it will be easier. I do hope this is just a template and DB will add the Star Trek theme back in soon?

All these changes are simple CSS changes. They can make em so. Should probably suggest your preference,and im sure they will get to em soon (tm).

But good suggestion with the addons you can add,so you can change t how you want.

They just launched it,and as many as you should know, we are beta testers.

Well done on the new forums DB.

Like everything new it will take some getting used to but feels like a much smoother ride now.

Hope there will be additional skins added, the former darker theme was more in tune with the series I thought.

I really love the feature that if I go to a thread I've already read, it directly scrolls me to the position where the new unread posts are. Thank you DB! It always was a pain to remember all the posts in the old forum and until what post I've read, especially if there were multiple pages.

Not really a fan of the new format. The avatars are tiny and everything else is huge and takes up massive amounts of space. Also not liking the color scheme. It's just something we'll have to get used to.

It really does seem a few steps backward in design philosophy, not to mention painful on the eyes. Hopefully we'll get some options soon.
