Re: Midweek Event Unleashed - feedback thread
I am really beginning to loathe this game, especially the objective events. I like the month-long ones, where everything essentially gets done in the background over time, just from playing the game daily. What I don't like about weekly OE is that now every day of the week I feel like I'm not playing the game how I want to play it, but rather being forced to do the exact same thing as every other player. It's no fun. It's boring and repetitive.
I echo the sentiments above that OE have completely ruined the new 4* crew introduced each week. Since OE started I no longer use the 4* crew in the event they are featured in, since I wait until the event is over to level, fuse, immortalize, and freeze them. They are a complete waste and go directly from claiming to freezing - what's the point?
Initially this new OE looked half-decent thanks to prizes that at least have the potential to be useful (or just 700 honor), but having to not just play but WIN 20/20 arena battles & 50 gauntlet battles in 48 hours just seems ridiculous. As with everything WRG has introduced since they took over, this is just one more thing "for the players" that is nothing more than a barely veiled cash grab (don't even get me started on the super-premium campaign track). Keep milking the cash cow and watching veteran players walk away.

Re: Midweek Event Unleashed - feedback thread
I did the same, and while at first I was worried everyone would do the same, I realized that if we all do this, even during the event, it will be the best for all (do the battles with the best ship, leave the worst so others can win)The minute I saw this objective I removed all my crew and switched to a weaker ship in arena. Hopefully I drop levels so it'll be easier to win battles during the event.

Re: Midweek Event Unleashed - feedback thread
I agree with others that Arena seems an unlikely task to succeed at, even at Level 99 like I am.
So in the spirit of the cooperation of the Federation, during the time period of this event, look for me in Admiral Arena. I'll be the Level 1 ship with no crew slots filled. (Doing the exact opposite of what a player should be doing...)

Re: Midweek Event Unleashed - feedback thread
I will keep my analysis brief.
The players who are capable of pulling this off do not need the prize.
The players who need the prize are incapable of pulling this off.
The players who are capable of pulling this off do not need the prize.
The players who need the prize are incapable of pulling this off.

Re: Midweek Event Unleashed - feedback thread
Can we get the event to just not start at daily reset? If you start it in the middle of the day like a standard event and still hold it for 48h, people would get 30 shots at 20 wins.
Edit: or lower the win requirement to 15 if that screws things up.

Re: Next Forced Update....
No comment until I see it, but experimentation isn't a bad thing. It can be learned from. If something comes out it...we'll see.
I'd love an Endurance event that runs in Mega months that has stuff keyed to that mega. Level crew with that trait. Trait polestar and quantum for a pull as a one reward. Extra ship schematics as one. Mega crew gear in it. So on and so forth. Top prize- fifth copy of the Mega crew!

Re: New campaign
I know this is a s not that big of an issue. But buying both tracks at the same time ($24.99) cost $0.01 more than just buying the campaign tracks separately ($14.99+$9.99=$24.98)

Just on a general level, it would be so much better if the event previews told us how long the event would last.

Re: Event discussion thread : Faction Event - Building a new World - 2022-03-17
Esteemed Curzon Dax is missing Ambassador, Cultural Figure, Maverick, Politician.
Ambassador:
Cultural Figure:
Curzon's exploits were mentioned in a dozen different episodes and he was legendary among both the Trill and Klingon people, the former for his role on the Symbiosis Commission (and Diplomatic accomplishments on behalf of the Federation) and the latter for "having spent more time among Klingons than [Worf]", engaging in a blood oath with several Klingon legends in their own right (which granted BO Jadzia the Klingon trait, but I digress), and of course his negotiations at the Khitomer accords, the most famous peace treaty in Trek history.
Maverick:
Politician:
Ambassador:
DAX: I was once the Federation Ambassador to the Klingon Empire. I negotiated the Khitomer Accords before Worf was even born.
SISKO: Curzon negotiated the Accords. And I've got news for you, old man. You're not Curzon anymore.
Cultural Figure:

DAX: Curzon Dax famous for rejecting Initiates. Why feel sorry for me?
DAX: Curzon was decorated many times for his diplomatic achievements, but no honor touched him as deeply as yours. For a Klingon to choose a Federation official to be the godfather of his son.
KANG: Curzon Dax opened the door to peace. He was the first Federation diplomat I ever met who truly seemed to understand the Klingon nature.
WORF: Curzon's name is an honored one among my people.
Maverick:
LENARA: Curzon was certainly different from most joined Trills.
DAX: He liked to do things his own way. He used to say there was an exception to every rule, and he usually went out of his way to find it.
LENARA: Dax, I am not like you. I don't have a little Curzon inside me telling me to be impulsive, to ignore the rules, to give up everything I've worked for.
SISKO: Odo, let me tell you something. Curzon Dax tended to be a little cavalier about life, even about his personal responsibilities from time to time. I think that was part of the reason I liked him so much. He had more faults than the usual socially acceptable Trill.
KIRA: Tell us a little about Curzon Dax, Commander.
SISKO: He probably wasn't the ideal Trill. He drank a little too much. He could be more interested in women than maybe he should've been.
Politician:
KOLOTH: Curzon Dax was a politician. It was a diplomatic ploy for him to bond himself to us in a blood oath.

Yeah, this is 100% spend to make it through.
The event picture with Quark counting his latinum is very apt.
