Instead of a new planet, can we get a Dyson's sphere where we can explore and interact with? I keep seeing them pop up in voyages where it keeps disappointing me by telling us we can't enter.

Thats on the map between episodes 8 and 3. Since I usually don't navigate to planets by clicking on them (because you can't do anything there if you do), I can't say if it's new or not.
There's also a space station there, which a quick picture search identified as the Regula 1 research station, where the Genesis Project was developed in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.
Edit: Oh wait, that's not the one, the cylindrical tubes below the station are missing - apparently it's just a generic federation starbase.
