New Vault Collections

I would love to see some new vault collections that focus on the themed episodes. I'm especially interested in an Oceans 9 Collection (for DS9 Badda Bing, Badda Bang) and a Secret Agent collection to honor Bashir's holodeck jaunts. Also, there should be a Q Continuum collection, assuming you will eventually introduce Lady Q and Little Q.

  • Perhaps also a collection for the TNG crew in naval uniforms.

    And a hologram collection.

Is it wrong that the two collections I want to see most are Discovery crew and non-canon creations?

    How about an Android collection.
    Starfleet Commission: August 12, 2017
  • How about "Other Quadrant" species collection?

    • Kazon
    • Caretaker
    • Annorax
    • The Clown
    • Danara Pel
    • Donik
    • Forra Gegen
    • Hirogen
    • Kurros
    • Talaxian
    • Mutated Paris might qualify
    • Ocampan
    • Species 8472
    • The Traveller
    etc...
I want to become a Dilionaire...
  • Well it seems DB heard us!
  • With this uptick in collections as of late, I'm expecting an Insurrection collection.

    Tango Picard
    Pinafore Data
    Ruafo
    Anij
    Baku Word

A few more and we'd be good to go. This could include some more Sona, some more Baku, admiral stretchy face, bathing Troi and shaved Riker (new fusion there too), firm Crusher, and natural sight (or sunrise) La Forge.
    My 8-Point STT Strategy:

    1. Voyage.
    2. Have fun. If something isn't fun, don't do it.
    3. Only pursue characters I care about.
    4. Contribute to the fleet.
    5. No more spending beyond monthly cards.
    6. Have fun.
    7. Voyage.
    8. Have fun!

  • I would love to see collections that don't rely on immortalizing legendary crew to be done.

The new collections are just a slap on the player's faces that do not spend a crap ton of money on the game. So, well done again DB, well done.

There are lots of things within the game which are far easier if you spend money. You could also make the opposite argument that collections which are too easy are a slap in the face to those who do spend money (that is, they would be getting no advantage for that extra investment).

And speaking as but a small cetacean, I'm fine with knowing that there are collections that I may never complete. I'd rather have something to work towards than to have everything done and completed and have very few challenges remaining in the game.

Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing.

There is no challenge involved, is again a matter of how large is your wallet and how little is your concern about rewarding a not-so-good product with lots of money for a few extra % to skills or getting rewards that are not even close to what you need to spend to complete most of the collections.

And you can only make the reverse argument if you are really disconnected to the reality. Who in their mind would rightly complain about an in-game feature be achieved by playing the game rather than pouring money on it? But then, is the Age of The Loot boxes and people with lots of money and little discernment of what is good from what is a bad game turned things upside down and things are as they are now...

  • Why isn't there a Klingon Collection? Anyone know?

There are over 45 characters with the Pilot trait.
  • I'm with the Miss, I'd love to see a Klingon collection as well. The Klingons are one of the most storied and vibrant races in the Star Trek World. They play major roles in every series other than Voyager. I'm actually dumbfounded that they didn't have a collection from the start.
I would also be a fan of larger collection thresholds for the Vulcans. Such as new thresholds of 20, 30 and 40. Same thing with the Klingon Collection since there are a lot of them.
I've actually airlocked or not gone after some of the Klingon cards in Events because there's not the added incentive of the collection count. Similarly with the Vulcans, there's lots of them that would have been kool to level up and freeze but since the collection caps at 10 theres no point

There is room for the Vulcan Collection to have a milestone goal at 25, especially when there are 43 in the collection. I have faith DB will eventually make the adjustment and will likely do it during a Vulcan themed event.

I'm with you on this, though I can sort of see some of the other side too.

I would much rather be able to complete the game by playing it than having no choice but to spend money on it. It's why we play games, for the challenge. Having said that, the challenge has to be attainable. It's fine if it's hard, nothing too easy is ever that satisfying, but it needs to be doable.

If you want to make it a bit easier, by spending, that's fine but there shouldn't be things that you can only achieve by spending, unless it can be by earned by playing the game, like with the Honour system or for Credits.

As it is, as an FTP player, it's probably going to take 20 years to get the current list of missing crew. At the rate new crew are added, I'll either die before I complete the game, or I'll get fed up with the moving goal posts and have to settle for the bits I really want to complete.

Totally agree with Miss. We have Vulcan, Romulan, Cardassian, Borg and Zindi collections. It stands that the 1st extraterrestrial species we had formal conflict with should be included.
Account on it's final tour, soon to be retired!
  • I just simply used to play games for fun and for more entertainment. It is true that it creates challenge automatically while playing any game with friends. Every time it is not possible to win the game. I never spend money on the game, in the meantime, I used to play an online video game like Star Trek, FIFA, SIMS 4 in a multiplayer mode. But to play a game in the multiplayer mode it is necessary to have relevant experience in the single-player mode. I think every game has its own strategy or I can say the trick to clear his levels in it, there is no need to fed up while playing in a team. Playing game is like decreasing loneliness in life or keeping you active for the day to day activity. There are many other games as well that can be played freely on the PC. One can also buy FIFA 18 if interested in playing the football simulation game. Well, I simply used to play my game on the Microsoft Windows as I found it simple and easy to use as compared to the other system.
  • Add Even suit Word, Picard, and Tuvok and make an EVsuit collection. It is a time/epace game after all.

With the new "Vegas" Campaign, I can see the possibility of at least 24 or so crew for a "Gambler" collection.
    • High Roller Data from "Hotel Royale" TNG
    • Vanessa from that same epsiode TNG
    • Worf, Laforge, Riker, Troi, Beverly Crusher, Chief O'Brien with cards in hand from various TNG eps.
    • Gambler Jadzia Dax with her Tongo cards DS9
    • Vic Fontaine DS9
    • Gamsters of Triskelion TOS
    • Slave Kirk on Triskelion TOS
    • Casino Owner Quark (obviously) DS9

  • What about adding trivia challenges the start low. But rewards get better like campaigns. Only entire franchise is used for this. Data would be perfect to pop up and say if correct or not because his name means information.
Also what do slots cost generally? There is a sale currently and I'm curious

I feel like if I had been on Voyager, I might have fretted that I didn't have enough luck left to go risking it for recreation.
