Dear Star Trek Santa

I have been, well, I'd hesitate to say good, but probably not bad this year. I got off to a decent start with some thoughtful comments on some forum threads and used that goodwill to start my first ever forum thread of my own, which has grown to become one of the most well-received threads on this sub-forum. In so doing however I inadvertently placed myself at odds with forum favorite @Where's my $25? | eXo | SR which I am sad about.
I've made some friends on this forum, and in the game itself I've made some more, a handful of which broke free of a terrible fleet and started our own fleet, which has been growing slowly but steadily. I have worked hard to welcome the new folks into the fold and help them get up to speed. This process got to be so demanding than rather than just answer questions in fleet chat I took it upon myself to write up a comprehensive game guide which I email to members of the fleet to help them improve. Overall I'd have to say that has been a great community building tool and a welcome boon to our fleet.
All that being said Star Trek Santa, if you could see clear to grant a few wishes this holiday season, I have assembled a short list.
First, if at all possible, would it be possible to have some sort of participation trophy for The Gauntlet? Your arch-enemy RNGesus is a temperamental jerk tool fellow and rewards some of us with many, many copies of The Caretaker and others zero. Star Trek Santa, I do not want a handout, but I do want an opportunity to get a copy of The Caretaker, so my proposal is that after a pre-determined number of Gauntlet rounds are fought by a player, they be given the opportunity to purchase a copy of The Caretaker using merits or honor at a discount. Seeing as how The Gauntlet reward characters are designed to encourage future success in The Gauntlet, those of us without The Caretaker are at an ever-growing disadvantage for reasons entirely outside our ability to control, so I think this would be a welcome addition to really brighten the spirits of a lot of people Star Trek Santa.
Second,if it is within your sphere of influence Star Trek Santa, I would like the ability to let factions know ahead of time what items I would like in exchange for helping them perform shuttle missions. I do not think that is unreasonable. And I understand that the faction might not always be able to accommodate, that is reasonable, but part of the negotiation for my services should include some sort of upfront discussion about what MY needs are; these factions are quite clear with what THEY want out of our arraignment, I just ask for the same respect from them. I should for example be able to tell my allies The Augments that in exchange for helping them with my shuttles that I want basic medical experiments. I realize they may only be able to offer me an increased chance that RNGesus will award me what I ask for, but it only seems right that both parties in an exchange to ask for what they want from the deal.
Third, I would like to have an upcoming event feature a crew with a high base medicine skill score. We've had a real run on diplomacy and command of late Star Trek Santa, and while those are useful, if it is not too much to ask I think it is time for a crew with high medicine. You see Star Trek Santa, for a lot of us 5 of 7 days each week are spent either getting ready for the upcoming event or else participating in the current event, with the other two days spent re-loading for the next event. As such, some players simply do not have the ability to divert resources away from the events each week to work on a crew not needed for an upcoming event, so having even one event crew with a high medicine score would really go a long, long way toward helping balance our crew skills.
And finally Star Trek Santa, I realize this one is really asking for a lot and is something I probably do not deserve, but I would like to have the ability for fleets to have a fleet co-op in our starbases, where members can offer up extra crew or other resources to other members of the fleet for purchase. To keep this fair I would think everything should have a fixed price, and ideally everything should have fixed prices with several different currencies; for example, a copy of Ambassador Neelix could have a fixed price of 300 honor, 1,000 chronitons, or 500 merits, and the person offering it up in the co-op could decide which of those three they are willing to accept. I see this as a real benefit to being active in a fleet, and would help fleets feel more like a community than just a collection of individuals. Hopefully you agree, Star Trek Santa.
Thank you Star Trek Santa, I hope you have had a great year, and I wish you good health and happy memories for the upcoming year

This is awesome idea! And it could be extended to Locutus and Guinan as there is practically no way to get them now. The price could be same as Kahless, but there should be some way to get them.
Locutus can be won by completing the gauntlet achievement. You have to complete 20,000 rounds of gauntlet battles to obtain him.
I know that, but for many players that is near to unachievable. If you play 50 rounds a day (which is A lot) you need 400 days to get Locutus.
I completely, 100% agree. I tried to address this by having each card have a set price that is non-negotiable, and have that price be not cheap. That was the idea anyway, if you can think of a better way I welcome it
I started this year and I'm at 12140 rounds.
That being said, the gauntlet is a textbook case of bad RNG code. Their only saving grace is the Star Trek IP.

This! Only this and nothing else..
I thought factions did know what you want, that's why 3* alcohol never comes when you need it most, but 1*, 2* and 4* suddenly start dropping like Santa's reindeer during a Christmas fireworks display.
This was just a killer

I agree with your wishlist although swapping crew could be abused... so i would be carefull with that one
PM for details.
So long and thanks for all the fish.
Or be able to see ALL messages without having to relog after you realize half of a conversation is not showing up, or be able to scroll back more than just a few messages.
Same here. Of course, because most of the people in our fleet don’t bother with game chat we only have six or seven on Discord...thanks, DB.
We use LINE but I think it is not reasonable to force players use it. I do require my officers to use it for fleet management purposes, but using a 3rd party chat shouldn't be necessary and it seems to be. DB should make this a priority as far as the game is concerned. It would vastly improve things.
PM for details.

Warping cadets is equivalent to about 15 free crew slots I would guess. Perhaps that is why it hasn't been done.
Not really.. if you're tight with slots or you just got yourself a right combination of cadets, it is equivalent of 6-8 crew slots, but not less than that.
I'd like the warping cadet feature even if you still had to have the crew in your slots. Being able to not have to play the same rounds over and over everyday would be just fine for me even if the crew were in my inventory.

Incorrect.
But if that can't happen I guess I could settle for.. a half a million honor ?
(I've got like 80, 1 of 5* trust me, this won't hurt your bottom line at all. Couple it with 2x $10 x 10 on a portal update and we:s be rolling !)
