For those who may be in the Louisville area, there'll be a big entertainment convention in a couple weeks, Louisville Supercon. Guests include William Shatner, LeVar Burton, Brent Spiner, John de Lancie, and a zillion others. I'm making mention of it here specifically because I've been confirmed to moderate a panel on Sunday (2 December)! We'll be doing a live Flickchart session, debating and ranking the Star Trek feature films! I've done a few of these panels at previous cons, and they're always fun. It'd be fun to catch up with any of my fellow Timelines players!

Unless it was taken surreptitiously, no video was recorded of the panel. We had a much smaller turnout than I'd have liked, which I attribute to the show organizers failing to set up any signage whatsoever in the entire hallway where panels were conducted. That said, the panel went well and was a lot of fun! Insurrection kept popping up, and there were three movies that never did (IV, Nemesis, and the '09 reboot). We often run into the issue that we don't get to generate enough matches to bring every movie in the pool into the panel, unfortunately, but I think it's more engaging to kick around the merits of each match than it is to rush through and rank as many matches as possible.
For anyone curious, here's the ranked chart that was generated from our panel:
