Hopefully there will be a kirk deal tomorrow as long as it’s not admiral or mirror kirk, I stand a good chance to add a star to one of my kirks.

The moderate to big spenders already have most of the super rare characters maxed on stars. This offer really doesnt benefit the people who really spend. If it was Legendary citations it might be different.

I buy them in advance for the Tuesday’s once every 2-3 months where they release a new purple in the 650 dil packs. That way I just have to get one of the new card and can cite the rest.

I’ve bought the 4* citation deal every other time it was offered just to get crew into the freezer but won’t bother now because I am less stressed for slots than ever before.

I have a good 30 free slots free, and I have completely run out of crew to train. What I need is a cheap pack offer. A universal 10x10 offer tomorrow would be perfect.

Well both the Timelines Facebook and Twitter accounts reposted the Elusive Treasures packs as the Cy-Borg week offer, so it seems that was the real deal after all....

I just think someone could have bothered to respond here....

The $50 20 packs or just the dilithium pulls?

    Accepted. Mark them, Galt.
  • I was seriously ready to throw in some extra $$$ for a deal over this weekend, but alas. I was even slightly tempted by the first Monday offer I saw, came back to buy it, and YOINK it was gone.

Money on the table, DB. Money on the table.

Yeah I claimed the SR citation from the in-game mail just the other week, and only then did I realize that I didn't really have anybody good to spend it on. Eventually I think I just chose a Voyage-exclusive crew member, even though you can get multiples of those now.

Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing.

Any of the 3-part voyage crew (Picard, McCoy, Worf, Guinan) would be a good choice to cite.
  • I mean, honestly, I could use this offer. It’s just weak that it’s the only choice and I guess I’m not in the mood to shell out $25 for that.

I think people, myself included, would be more likely to buy a variety pack. The $25 price point is ok, but give us say 1-2 citations, dilithium, chrons and packs. Not just “here’s your one size fits all offer take it or leave it.” I was a huge hockey card collector as a kid and I loved ripping packs. It was most of the fun.

Or they could have done tiered offers such as:

    10 packs for $7.50–25% off
3 super rare citations for $10
1,000 dil for $10–right between the 700 and 1500 offers
Even a mega deal for $50 with packs, boosts, chrons, dil, and lets get crazy even a couple slots.

These are just ideas but would have given players a choice.

But what do I know, I’m an auditor not in marketing..
  • I think Im going to spend the money I had earmarked for this on the tail end of the Steam autumn sale. I kept meaning to pickup Xcom2, now is my chance!
  • I think past on past experience, if you don't buy the offer, when the timer runs out, the other offer may pop up.
