This change is necessary for the newer phones. I am guessing they finally figured out a way to dynamically change screen sizes between devices. (That's what it looks like.) Plus there is extra room to see all the for Skirmishes! (again, hopefully)
As someone with an iPhone Xs Max, I can tell you it's worse. Especially the fleet window.
I wish they'd address actual problems instead of messing with the windows. Like in the cryostasis screen, can we PLEASE include frozen crew in order when we sort by stats? Come on!
