Because I like to time my boosts to fit around my schedule, I actually use 2* time reducers several times a week. Due to Thursday callanges, uncommon time boosts are less preveant than the rares.
The delay was less than a hour. The last five or six global compensations were for issues that did not effect me; this one did. I only lost a couple dozen ranks.
This delay was less than half an hour. 2* Boosts take off 30 minutes. The compensation is logical.
2* boosts take off 1 hour, and judging from squad chat it was fixed between 37 and 38 minutes in. But the logic still holds.
I had been using my stack of 1* Boosts to knock half an hour off the Borg Shuttles when I was building cred. I was thinking of them. Thanx

An hour delay can cause more than an hour setback, depending on someone's schedule.
I know this was definitely the case for more than a couple of people in our fleet.
Especially if you schedule a lunch break around that, then can't get another chance for 2+ hours.
On a different topic, I don't know if it was already brought up, but.... the faction part seems a bit pointless. I think it might be more competitive (read: "players will spend more money") if the faction phase is first.
Take that with a grain of salt. I'm a bit snowed in, so I would love to be skirmishing right now. Speaking of salt... could someone drop some on my street to melt some of this white death?
Since no one else has mentioned it, I want to point out the title for this week's event, and so far nothing showing One in the storyline.
The way it is written, "One's Self", is specifically referring to the 29th Century-tech made Borg named "One" from Voyager. Although the epilogue is yet to be revealed, where is "One" in the storyline? And what exactly are they trying to prove about "One"?
If they had meant it to refer to Borg's as individuals, as some of the story has shown in part, the title should read "To Prove Oneself".

The faction part is beyond pointless. If you weren't under 1k or close to it by the end of the skirmish phase there was no way you're catching up. I didn't have time to play the end of the skirmish phase so I started faction phase 200k back. I looked at how many boosts it would take to catch up and decided there was no point in even trying. In the skimish phase I would have spent the time to play today and caught up, but with no chance in a faction phase I"m taking it easy. I'm sure plenty of people like me are making similar decisions. And since no one is pushing to break into the top 1k, no one in the top 1k needs to push hard to stay there either. Maybe there is a slight movement 1100-900, but that's about it.

My fleet has been talking about this. More like 975 to 1025.

There is definitely some hard competition around 1000. I came out of phase 1 at rank 1024 and slipped to around 1085 by the time I logged on again after the bug fix. I was still hovering between 1090 and 1120 last night when I decided to burn up some 3* time boosts to try to get over the hump...24 hours of that and I am still at 1091.
My last set of shuttles went to skill boosts, since it’s not worth losing any more valuable boosts for no benefit.
I was trying for top 50 for the achievement. I was at 40 close to the end of the skirmish. After the faction phase was fixed, my rank was mid 60’s. I haven’t even been able to break 60.

Yeah I'm 229 right now and had the same 10 names either side of me since the start of phase 2, I'm not sure why we are fighting in the top 250 because the rewards apart from Braxton aren't much to encourage competition and he's already in the bag.
Nobody in the top 200-500 has an incentive to go that bit further because a Braxton dupe is out of reach.
Having a skirmish in p2 will always make hybrids more exciting.

How did your hands not fall off doing that much skirmishing? I really dont know how people do those really high numbers. 400k a day is about my upper limit and yet some people were doing like 2 or 3 million a day.

I'm in that set and just continuing to chip away because there's no reason not to run Borg missions while they're bonused to collect good stuff and get a bit further to Honored status
I guess I'm going against the grain and doing section 31 missions, what better way to farm section 31 items when you have a better than 66% success rate.

Believe me, I wasn’t happy about it. I was spending chronitons on ship battles to level up some crew and before I knew it I had well over 200k intel. I didn’t want it to go to waste. In a full skirmish I could space it out over the whole event, but I didn’t have that luxury this time. So I just forced myself to mindlessly press those buttons until I used up all the intel. And in the process got back most of my 15k chronitons spent and got 18k Honor as well.
Is it just me, or is the assimilation of B-4 profoundly depressing?
I'm still in the camp that it isn't possible for the Borg to assimilate a Soong type android.
I disagree. We saw they could add skin to Data. Skin he could feel. They could take an android and turn it into a cyborg and then assimilate the human parts they had put in.
I mean yeah....it's like killing data for the 3rd time...... Sad
Well...”a” version of B-4 got assimilated. However, the deactivated B-4 in one of the janitor’s closets on my ship is and will remain Borg-free for the foreseeable future. Just as long as my non-frozen Borg crew stay away from him, I suppose.

Yes, punctuation matters!

I’ve yet to get one copy of him

Tbh I’d prefer 1 copy of 5 of 12 over a 3rd Armus

For an event featuring a skirmish phase. A faction or galaxy will still be lower scoring.

Here was me at the phase break
Here was me at event end.
I was just running my compliment of 3 seat shuttles every 3 hours or so.
