What differences are there in rewards (or in missions possible and future rewards from those missions) depending on Borg victory or Fed victory?

I chose wrong once before and missed out on a good farming mission.

    Curious as well.

I went with the Borg, which yields the following on the mission Bearing Up:
    ...

Scatter Thine Enemies (Federation choice, a ship battle)

    Normal
    18 Chonitons - 4* Starfleet Uniform Patern, 3* Subprocessor, 2* Isolinear Chips, 1* Microconnector, 0* Optronic Circuit-

    Elite
    22 Chronitons - 4* Emitter Crystal, 3* Power Cell, 2* Expansion Module, 2* Subprocessor.
EDIT: Just did a quick warp 10 ... 7 Power Cells ... nice, I always seem to be low on those.

    Epic
    24 Chronitons - 4*Optronic Circuit, 3* Sensor, 2* Interlink, 1* Borg Occipital Implant.

Hmm...that drop rate for power cells is almost as good as what’s been reported for Stealing The Stars, which is a ship battle but as far as I can tell still doesn’t drop holoemitters. 3* sensors on Epic could be nice if it drops more than Long Live The King on Epic. Other than those, I’m not seeing anything to get real excited over.

    She was
    - daily reward
    - event reward in 2017
    - event reward IN 2018, DS9 MEGA-EVENT which pissed me off because it was shoehorned
    - event reward in this event (2019)
    - reward for episode

I really don't can't think of ANY CARD which was used so many times for so many different things....

Only one I can think of is maybe her 2* in the https://youtu.be/5Md_nDXAOZ8

But that is one thing over and over. We can probably add this week, by the way. It's a Borg Event.

just double warp 10ed it to check the 3* sensor drop rate over a tiny sample size :) :
    1. 2 4*, 13 3*, 10 2*, 5 1*.
    2. 6 4*, 6 3*, 11 2*, 7 1*.

EDIT: The nice thing is the implants (if you need em), you normally have to construct those and they cost an average of 28.2 chrons a piece.
But I've got nearly 400 of those 3* sensors, so not a mission I'll run on any regular basis.

Strange, the BORGS!!!!!! have not come to my galaxy map to assimilate me. Logged in and out twice to no avail.

My technological and biological distinctiveness must be unworthy of adding to the collective.

It looks like you may not have finished Episode 8. If that's the case, Episode 9 won't appear until you finish Episode 8.

Thanks! I’ll go ahead and finish it...one of my timelines goals for the year is to finish the map.

I notice the picture of the Borg Queen above the Episode 9 placard is very pixellated. It's like looking at the artwork of an old VGA game.

Yeah, there's something wrong with the file. She looks that way everywhere else, too: crew quarters, avatar, Behold! lineup. Same problem with Marla McGivers.

There has been an issue with smaller versions of artwork for a very long time. I brought something up in a thread long ago (on the old forums, if I recall) about how the character artwork in the Time Portal for the Dabo Wheel card looks terrible on my devices. Now, granted, that's a slightly different issue, since that art in question looks okay on Steam. But I think it may be part of the same problem — which perhaps has to do with the game drawing the incorrect asset version of the image from their servers, or possibly something else entirely. But something that's coming up low-res on every device and platform should be easy enough to fix, you would think.

I guess it probably wouldn't even bother me that much, if so many of the other graphics in the game weren't of the high quality that they are. But comparatively, it's quite noticeable.

Could you please continue the petty bickering? I find it most intriguing.

I would choose Dixon in this case since she will also be in the event rewards this week. Dixon has never been featured in an event so he is likely harder to obtain and another Picard card is good to have if he shows up an a future event.

IIRC PTSD Picard has some traits useful for clearing a couple of nodes. No idea if his usefulness in that respect has been supplanted by newer crew or not, but the wiki might help answer that. Seven is event crew this week so might be useful to you immediately depending on if you'd be able to get her leveled and depending on your other crew.
  • i think I'll take Dixon as we all just got Silver Seven and that makes 3 versions of her along with my 4-5 Chakotays and 3 T'Pols, 3 Kirks, 2 Trip, and so on. I only have original Picard 2*. Thanks.

Drone 7 was one of the first Super Rares I immortalized; when she was a daily reward. She was the best engineer in my deck for a long while.

I've only been playing less than 7 months so she's evaded me so far. I just thought there may be others in my situation who would appreciate the hint.
  • I completed the episode, but I’m confused. Before, the Gorn homeworld was lit up red. Now that it’s over, it’s back to normal. I don’t get how it factors in
  • Have the Gorn been assimilated?

It sounds like Federation is chock full of useful stuff, and will be a source for Intel this week.

  • Am I the only one who enjoyed seeing the number "12" as a notification on the map icon, and now see 13 and feel disturbed by it?

Not a Jodie fan then? :-)

the question is for us newbies. Who to choose for the reward-Drone Seven or Dixon Picard? I have neither and am trying to decide.

I suggest to choose neither. Keep the decision open. Then when you get one of the two characters to 3/4 you know you can get the 4th star from the mission. Or if you really want to wait, see who you get to 4/4 first otherwise and then choose the other one.

Oh jeez...I don't have either 7 of 9 or Tommy Dix, but don't know if I have the patience to let that linger out there. :# lol

    The benefits

    - A 1/4 Tommy Gun Dixon can pass the locked SEC node on EPIC (and naturally lower difficulty too) Rabid Fans (I know because I happened to do it (with starbase bonuses) ... see the post on it in the Ready Room) ... this is a "notoriously" difficult node to unlock as only a very small selection of crew can ... Detective Data 1/5, Romulan Picard 1/5, a 4/4 Doc La Forge and maybe a 4/5 or 5/5 Zhian Odo ... Both Doc La Forge and Data are brutal to level and equip, Tommy is easier (but still pretty irritating).

    - Seven of Nine will probably be ranked reward for the upcoming event ... wait until later today to double check ... if you manage to get 3 copies on Monday from event rewards, just pick your fourth up here. :)
Also, if you are just starting out (though probably not, as you're on Episode 9 already) the Seven is not a bad Voyager.

You can't really go wrong here.

My 4/4 Seven makes most Voyages. Maybe not as many this weekend, of course.........

Well, I have a Drone Seven to level for the upcoming event now. I've wanted this Seven for awhile. I really wish Chapter 9 was longer though.

Really wish there were more story missions in general. Even if they were side quests.
  • I completed the missions but when I tried to run them again they are gone.

And I have all the chapters completed and almost 95% of the missions done.
